When sorrow’s clouds are swept away,
And joy shall flood the newborn day.
When sky shall sway in gleeful trance,
And earth shall sing in sweet romance.
Then shall arise... so calm, so bright,
That morn of hope, that dawn of light!
It shall arrive, though late it be, 
That dawn we yearn, shall surely see!
